My son only has to finish this week and he's out of school!! It's always so nice to have him home an extra day with me (my Monday's off). I can't wait. :) Do you have any fun Summer plans this year?
I must admit I haven't been creating much and have felt like I lost my mojo. :( Yesterday I was able to open a box of goodies from Emma's Paperie and I think my mojo returned a bit, yippee! I created a few things that I can't post yet but I did create a card this morning to share.
I used this weeks PTI MIM challenge to use sketches based on adds. I loved the banner card sketch that was shared (check out their blog). I used my new Crate Paper goodies, PTI stamps and die cuts, and a beautiful wooden butterfly.
I scored the banners down the center and folded them a bit to make them stand out.
I've been taking lots of photos of all our visitors this year. I thought I'd share a few today. First, a hummingbird moth.. they buzz just like a hummingbird as they fly around.
A Pileated woodpecker that's been visiting often.
And this little guy ran into our picture window. We watched over him until he was able to fly away safely. I think it's some kind of warbler.. any clue?

Wow! Really gorgeous card, Sherry! I love the colors and papers and love the layered banners. The wooden butterfly is just stunning, too. Your photos are really beautiful, too. So not easy to catch all those little guys in action. :)
