For all the kind comments on my card for the "Exquisite Embellishment" book blog hop (below). You all made my weekend! :)
Today I made a card that combines 2 challenges. First The Shabby Tea Room has a beautiful photo inspiration and ask that you include a rose in your project. And next PTI MIM has a challenge to use up some pattern paper scraps. I have TONS of those so that was easy. I used Kaisercraft scraps and some leftover wooden butterflies I had from making my journal in a previous post. I used a few PTI dies and stamps. tfl
A few posts back I mentioned making my own succelent plantings. I thought I'd share a few today. I bought the plants from Home Depot and added some stones from the yard. They add a extra little something to the house.
A neat addition to my bathroom:
A bigger planting for the picture window:
A little one I did. It's a little plain so I'm planning to wrap in twine and will post a new pic.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! :)

Your card is really pretty. I love the vintage feel it has.

Beautiful and fun color combination! The bold prints and inking on the edges add just enough vintage flair. Succulents are fun little guys to have around the house. =)

Your card is so pretty! I love the different paper patterns.
Your plants look great. My MIL always loved growing succulents. Sadly, I never had quite as much luck.
Thanks for the inspiration! :)
