A long post..
Hope everyone had a nice weekend! :0)
I have a few things to share, first is a container I made for a post on the Pursuit of CraftYness blog (check it out lots of fun stuff). It started off as a plain paper mache box that I painted, distressed, and covered with designs cut from Webster's Pages paper:
And I had 20" while supper was cooking to do this weeks 2sketches4you card and this is what I came up with, lol. Melissa Frances goodies. :0)
I also want to give a belated shout out to one of the sweetest and most talented ladies I know, Anabelle. When we met on-line 4 years ago I fell in love with her work and I'm so grateful to call her a dear friend!! I'm so excited that she was named a 2009 Memory Makers Masters, much deserved and way overdue. Go check out her amazing work!!
And I was given 2 blog award this past week, Dani gave me the "I love your blog" award back (too funny). And Beatriz (check out her lovely creations) gave me a "Brilliant weblog" award. I'm going to cheat and just list 7 blogs that I enjoy, so here goes. :0)

gorgeous card for the sketch Sherry - love the vintage feel - love melissa frances and those circle flowers - aren't they fun to make - lots of ripping and distressing - a real stress buster

The altered container is simply fabulous, Sherry! I love the hand cut elements, and the wired lid is beautiful!
Your card is beautiful as well! I love the Melissa Frances papers and the flowers with the button centers are darling! I just love your work!
