A few things & a RAK...
Tomorrow we leave for a week of camping at the lake. It should be fun, keep in mind my idea of "camping" involves our camper with a/c, shower, microwave ect.. ;) We also have our boat docked there so plan to go fishing and cruising along the shore. So while I'm away I decided to do a RAK (see below).
This first project is a little tutorial on the Queen & Company blog on using Copics to color your felt, check it out here. :0)
And this is a frame I stamped with a Cornish Heritage Farm backgrounder then added Queen & Co. felt, rhinestones, ribbon ect.. It was in the June/July issue of Paper Trends.
And lastly the blog candy.. I have over 100 sheets of various pattern papers and a new Paper Salon tailored tin stamp set (borders). Just leave a comment and say hello while I'm away and I'll draw a winner when I return next weekend. :0)
Edit to add: I forgot I've been tagged a few times. My friend Miki tagged me to list 6 random things about myself, I'm supposed to tag 6 more people but I'll just say I'd love for everyone to do it and post me a link so I can read more about you. :0)
My six things. hmm....
1. Before paper crafting gardening was my first love. I have thousands of perennials, trees, shrubs, fruit trees ect.. planted. Now I just struggle to keep up with weeds, lol.
2. I travel about 200 or more miles a day for work seeing patients in most of northeast Michigan.
3. I absoluetly *love* my car, it was my first new car a black on black Sebring convertible. It now has 320,000 miles on it and still looks great for it's age(see fact #2), hehe.
4. I haven't watched the news in 6 years and the *only* time I watch tv is when Grey's Anatomy is on.;)
5. I've never seen a Starbucks, never owned a dishwasher (mine is called dh..lol), and have to drive almost 2 hours to the nearest city to do any real shopping.
6. Growing up my Dad was a charter captain on Lake Huron and my Mom worked and made various crafts. We spent the weekends fishing and traveling to various craft shows selling my moms creations.
One last thing, Benita gave me a little blog award and I wanted to say thanks. She's a fellow "Michigander" and has the most amazing scraproom, check it out!
OK, now I'm really done. Have a great Saturady & week ahead! :0)

Here's hoping you have a very fun and relaxing vacation. BTW ... you camp the way I like to camp! Thank you for your generosity; it's a great RAK.

Sherry I LOVE your tutorial and can't wait to try this project. The new Queen and Co. products are so fun. I've never been camping, and am not sure how I would hold up, but it is something I'd like to do...at least once! Having the boat docked near you for excursions is a great idea (that I would like for sure!). Have fun! xoxo

Very pretty card. Thank you for the info on the copics. I've not bought any yet, but the more and more I learn about I am becoming more and more tempted. You are very generous to offer us a chance at so many pretties. Thank you. Enjoy your camping trip and nature.
Peace.

Eeep! I feel foolish. I did not look at the date, I had followed this link from another place and just saw the beautiful card. I am sorry for not paying better attention to the dates. It's still a great card, great ideas, and was still very kind of you too.
