On our way...

camping in about 3 hours. :) We'll be spending the week on the beach & in our boat. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!

I though I'd share a few things before we hit the road. A card using this weeks CPS sketch. I used Webster's Pages paper, Tattered Angels chipboard, and an adorable Flower Fairy image I picked up at Emma's Paperie:

Card Creations 7 blog hop...

Celebration. :) My copy came this week & it's *packed* full of inspiration! I'm excited to be a part of a fun blog hop today where you have the chance to win 10 fun prizes from Paper Crafts along with 15 chances to win a copy of Card Creations 7.

First, I'd like to share one of my cards in this issue.

Flowers_&_Friends_Sherry

It combines all my favorite things... layers, buttons, bling, butterflies, and ribbon! I was inspired by the black & teal paper and loved how it looked with the greens.  Of course it wouldn't be complete without a few details: butterflies & flowers punched from book paper and accented with bling and buttons. ;)

Now, here's how you can win a copy & a chance to win one of the 10 prize packages being given away on the Paper Crafts Connection Blog & Moxie Fab Blog:

Butterflies & Peonies

It's hot & humid here in Michigan and the flowers are blooming. :) Before ds was born I planted tons of perennials, trees, and bushes. It's fun to see everything filled in and really look like what I planned in my head many years ago.

Here's a card I did today using the Card Patterns sketch. I used my stash for this... some older Jenni Bowlin papers, a Love Elsie frame ( I just glittered the self adhesive side), PTI stamp, and Zva Creative crystals:

And one of my fav projects ever. ;) A mini-album I made of my brother & SIL's wedding. I was the photographer & bridesmaid (quite a task, lol). I made the album from 2 wall canvas and hinged them together. It has lots of hidden pockets, a blank notebook for SIL to add memories ect..

It was picked up by GiftMaker a few years ago, but never published since they ceased publication. It's now online here. I just received it back and plan to give it to them for their 3rd wedding anniversary.

The Graduate...

My little guy had his kindergarten graduation Friday, so proud of him. :) Notice the flower... we were wondering where he got it? Well, the cutest thing... the mom to one of the girls he's known for a few years asked her if she wanted a corsage for graduation. Her answer was she'd wear one only if Brandon did so the mom sent one for her & Brandon. Awww!!!

Smgrad

My CPS card for this week. I recycled Prima & Chatterbox packaging for this on.

While I was taking pics of my sketch card I thought I'd take a few from the house & yard.

This is one of the flats of veggies (tomatoes, watermelon, pumpkins, cucumbers ect..) ds & I started from seed about 5 weeks ago. I'm hoping the frost danger passes soon so we can plant... they're getting pretty big. ;)
